Apple App Store Search

Search the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac apps.

GET/api/v1/apple/app-store/search

Costs 1 credit per request; failed requests are refunded. Authentication, the search_metadata envelope and error codes are the same as for every endpoint (see the API reference). Try it in the playground.

Parameters

Request

`term`required	string	Search term with 1 to 2,048 UTF-8 bytes of printable text, and at most 4,096 bytes after URL encoding.Up to 2,048 characters.
`num`	integer	Maximum results after filtering, from 1 through 200.Default: 10.Range: 1 to 200.

Filters

Parameter	Type	Description
`disallow_explicit`	boolean	Exclude explicit results when true.Default: false.
`property`	string	Use developer to match developer names, ignoring case.
`category_id`	integer	Filter results by a native genre identifier, from 1 through 2,147,483,647.Range: 1 to 2147483647.
`device`	"mobile" \| "tablet" \| "desktop"	mobile for iPhone apps, tablet for iPad apps, or desktop for Mac apps.Default: mobile.

Localization

Parameter	Type	Description
`country`	string	Two-letter Apple storefront country. UK is accepted as an alias for GB.Default: us.
`lang`	string	Language-region code, such as en-us or fr-fr.Default: en-us.

Response

A JSON object with search_metadata (request id, credits used and remaining) and the result data: organic_results with prices, developers, ratings, genres, releases, languages, screenshots, and supported devices. Groups and fields depend on the content of each page, so treat every field as optional.
