Get Yahoo web search results.

GET/api/v1/yahoo/search

Costs 1 credit per request; failed requests are refunded. Authentication, the search_metadata envelope and error codes are the same as for every endpoint (see the API reference). Try it in the playground.

Parameters

Search

Query, localization and pagination.

Parameter	Type	Description
`p`required	string	Text or search operators to send to Yahoo.Up to 2,000 characters.
`yahoo_domain`	string	Yahoo regional search host, for example fr.search.yahoo.com. A regional prefix such as fr is also accepted.Default: search.yahoo.com.
`b`	integer	One-based starting result. Web pages usually advance by 10; image pages usually advance by 60.Default: 1.Range: 1 to 10001.
`device`	"desktop" \| "tablet" \| "mobile"	Device profile used for the Yahoo result page.Default: desktop.
`vc`	string	Country code for regional results, such as us or uk.
`vl`	string	Restrict matches to a language, such as lang_fr, lang_zh_chs, or lang_zh_cht. Enables Yahoo's language filter.

Filters

Narrow the Yahoo result set.

`vm`	"r" \| "i" \| "p"	Adult-content filtering: r for strict, i for moderate, p for unfiltered.
`vs`	string	Comma-separated domain suffixes to search, such as .com,.org.Up to 500 characters.
`vf`	string	Document format to match, such as pdf, txt, or all formats.Up to 80 characters.
`fr2`	string	Yahoo display token controlling result module placement and expansion.Up to 1,000 characters.
`d`	string	Yahoo related-topic destination token, passed through as a string.Up to 4,096 characters.

Response

A JSON object with search_metadata (request id, credits used and remaining) and the result data: organic_results. Groups and fields depend on the content of each page, so treat every field as optional.
