Google Ads

Get the ads shown on a Google search results page.

GET/api/v1/google/ads

Alpha: this endpoint is new and its response fields may still change.

Costs 1 credit per request; failed requests are refunded. Authentication, the search_metadata envelope and error codes are the same as for every endpoint (see the API reference). Try it in the playground.

Parameters

Query and location

Parameter	Type	Description
`q`required	string	Google Ads search query, up to 2,048 characters with no controls.
`location`required	string	Human-readable location where the ad search originates, up to 63 UTF-8 bytes once Google-encoded.Example: Austin, Texas, United States.

Language, filtering, and device

Parameter	Type	Description
`hl`	string	Google interface and result language, such as en, en-GB, or de.Default: en.
`safe`	"active" \| "off"	Google adult-content filtering.
`nfpr`	"0" \| "1"	Google spelling auto-correction control. Set 1 to exclude corrected queries.
`device`	"desktop" \| "tablet" \| "mobile"	Google returns its real layout for the selected device.Default: desktop.

Response

A JSON object with search_metadata (request id, credits used and remaining) and the result groups the page returns. Groups and fields depend on the content of each page, so treat every field as optional.
