Google Maps Popular Times

See how busy a place is right now.

GET/api/v1/google/maps/popular-times

Costs 1 credit per request; failed requests are refunded. Authentication, the search_metadata envelope and error codes are the same as for every endpoint (see the API reference). Try it in the playground.

Parameters

Live foot traffic

Resolve one Place ID and compare the live busyness score with the usual score for this time.

Parameter	Type	Description
`place_id`required	string	Required Google business Place ID (ChIJ…). Every response is fetched live; places without busy hours return not_found and are not billed.

Localization

Control the Google language, country, and domain.

Parameter	Type	Description
`hl`	string	Google interface and result language.
`gl`	string	Two-letter country localization code.
`google_domain`	string	A Google domain such as google.com or google.co.uk.

Response

A JSON object with search_metadata (request id, credits used and remaining) and the result groups the page returns. Groups and fields depend on the content of each page, so treat every field as optional.
