These terms govern your use of the serpfast website, dashboard and API (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organization, you accept these terms on its behalf. See also our Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts
- You sign in with a Google account and must keep it secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys.
- One person or organization may hold one free account. Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits is not allowed.
- Keep API keys secret. Do not embed them in public code or client-side apps, and revoke a key in the dashboard if it leaks.
2. Credits
- Requests consume credits as described on the pricing page and in the API documentation. Failed requests are refunded automatically.
- Free sign-up credits are granted once. Paid plan credits reset at the start of each monthly cycle; unused paid credits do not carry over.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Upgrades take effect immediately and the prorated difference is charged at once. Downgrades and billing period changes take effect at the next renewal.
- You can cancel at any time from the dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed afterwards.
- Payments are non-refundable, except where required by law or where we decide otherwise. If you were charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. New prices apply from your next renewal.
- If a payment fails and is not resolved, the subscription ends and the account returns to the Free plan.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal or fraudulent, or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, credit accounting or other restrictions, or to access other users' data;
- interfere with, overload or reverse engineer the Service or its infrastructure;
- resell or sublicense raw API access as a competing search data service without our written permission.
Building your own products, reports and tools on top of the data you retrieve is allowed.
5. Search data
The Service returns results from public search engines as they appear at request time. We do not control, endorse or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or legality of third-party content in the results. You are responsible for how you use the data, including compliance with applicable laws and the rights of content owners.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service fast and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Upstream search engines may change or limit access, which can affect results or availability. We may change, add or remove features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes to the API.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the free plan, put the Service at risk, or must be closed by law. Where reasonable we will tell you first. You may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, serpfast is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For significant changes we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
