Yahoo Finance History

Read daily, weekly, or monthly prices and volume for a market symbol.

GET/api/v1/yahoo/finance-history

Costs 1 credit per request; failed requests are refunded. Authentication, the search_metadata envelope and error codes are the same as for every endpoint (see the API reference). Try it in the playground.

Request parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
`symbol`required	string	Yahoo Finance ticker, such as AAPL, ^GSPC, or BTC-USD.
`interval`	"1d" \| "1wk" \| "1mo"	Price interval: daily, weekly, or monthly.Default: 1d.
`range`	"5d" \| "1mo" \| "3mo" \| "6mo" \| "1y" \| "2y" \| "5y" \| "10y" \| "ytd" \| "max"	History period to return.Default: 1mo.

Response

A JSON object with search_metadata (request id, credits used and remaining) and the result groups the page returns. Groups and fields depend on the content of each page, so treat every field as optional.
