"Exact match" modifier

By wrapping your search query in speech marks Google will perform an exact match search.

Examples:
"Samsung Galaxy S21" review
"Fastest" WordPress hosting

This is probably the most used modifier, its great when you have something specific you're looking for, such as product names. Like all modifiers it can be combined with non-quotation mark wrapped queries to provide more relevance to your searches.

site: modifier

You can use the site: prefix to restrict Google to searching specific domains.

Examples:
site:serpfast.com
site:smashingmagazine.com frontend performance

This modifier is useful for searching content on specific sites, it can be combined with other modifiers to make searches even more specific.

-negative modifier

You can use the minus symbol to exclude specific words from search results.

Examples:
dog breeds -poodle -terrier Speed optimization -WordPress

AND modifier

You can use the AND modifier to looks for specific combinations of keywords.

Examples:
"Dwayne Johnson" AND "Wrestling"
"SEO" AND "Site speed"

OR modifier

You can use the OR modifier to looks for specific alternative keywords combinations.

Examples:
"Dwayne Johnson" AND "Wrestling"
Blogging "GUIDE" OR "Expert"

inurl: modifier

You can use the inurl: modifier to search for a specific term in search result URLs.

Examples:
inurl:cat
inurl:searchengine

Bonus: allinurl: modifier

Example:
allinurl:cat accessories

The allinurl modified will search for all keywords in URLs.

intitle: modifier

You can use the intitle: modifier to search for a specific term in search result page meta title.

Examples:
intitle:iphone
intitle:review 4k TV (will search for 'review' in title with additional keywords of '4k' and 'tv')

Bonus: allintitle: modifier

Example:
allintitle:compare google search result speed metrics

The allintitle modified will search for all keywords to be in page meta titles.
